I’ve had my iphone 8 for almost 4 years and never had an issue, had to upgrade when the screen cracked badly and could not be repaired. This the kind of phone I will get fo my daughter since I have so many accessories for this phone. I like the home button, kind of missing it on the new iphone 13..

If I could give this phone a negative rating, I would. Apple 8 had an issue with it's mother board. It overheated and died. Unfortunately Apple did nothing to help. I will never buy another Apple product.

The phone is confusing for the elderly and easy to lock out. Once it's locked, getting it unlocked is nearly impossible, making the phone pretty useless.

I have been rebuying this phone since it first came out. I originally would only buy the iPhone 7 but then I decided to upgrade out of pocket to the iPhone 8 Plus. The only thing I didn’t like was that after two years the battery would drain. However, I think it is because I download a lot of apps and have a tons of videos and pictures. Other than that I love this phone and will continue to buy the iPhone 7 or iPhone 8. The amount of things they have fixed over the years has made it completely reliable to me.

I bought this product in good condition. It works pretty good, we I got the phone it looked amazing. The full front and back of the phone was free of damage like cracks, dents, etc. When I opened the iPhone I went to look at the battery help and it was pretty good, it was at 84% which it pretty good in my opinion, but I didn't think something like that would've been damaged - I thought it was just exterior stuff. Most of the time that phone works for me the whole day but I'm not on it the whole day. Sometimes the volume buttons don't work, when I try to turn the volume up and down it doesn't change I can even try in settings and it still won't work (It might be the case). When I try to charge the iPhone in the car, I'm not able to play music while charging, and that most times that my volume buttons don't work is when im in the car charging my iPhone. This is a good phone of someone who might be 11-13 as a "first phone" but of course this could work for anybody. If you don't want a phone that has a bunch of features this is the perfect phone for pre-teens.

I have seen a lot of reviews, and I have a question. I have a Samsung Galaxy a01, and it sucks. If I got this, would I be able to transfer my data (a01) OVER to the I phone 8? Also, how good is the condition. What I mean is what is wrong with it?

If this is going to be your first iPhone. Get a new one if you want to in joy a iPhone for the first time. Getting any phone and it not working the way it should is enough to turn anyone way of any kind of phone. iPhone’s are grate but there not for everyone. I’m looking into upgrading and after looking into it I sure it well be a new one. There not cheap, hate to get a bad one. Good luck.

I wpould like an older model Iphone. Which would you suggest?
Alex - 1 year
I suggest the Iphone Xs from 2 years ago it's better than the X and it looks like you have a premium phone
Rick - 2 years
If you would like an Iphone I would recommend the X. Very good phone when bought new would last a good 2 years if you treat it right.
Sean - 2 years
I would suggest the iPhone 7, because I have an iPhone 6+ and some updates and emojis aren’t available

Can you buy a phone for the retail price? If so will it count as a prepaid?
Darin・Jul 25, 2020
Can I purchase this iphone or perhaps the 7 and use it to replace my existing iphone on my verizon account with the number transferred? My wife usually takes care of all this. I like my current phone but its a 5 and won't update. Thanks
VZBV - 2 years
@Darin , Any new phone would be able to use your current phone number as long as the new phone is activated on your line. This is done automatically through the purchase process when you select your line as the one to be upgraded with a new phone: https://www.verizon.com/support/how-to-upgrade-your-device-video/ - Russell

does i8 have a headphone jack like the i6?

No
VZBV - 2 years
The iPhone 8 does not have a designated headset jack. To use a headset on this device you would use the a 3.55 mm adapter or Bluetooth headset. You can learn more here, https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-207272/. - Danielle

is this phone worth getting in 2020?
ruby - 2 years
Depends. If you don’t absolutely need the newest and greatest hardware, this could be a good phone for you. It’ll be supported for a good while, so it’s still a good phone for 2020
